AN EFFICIENT HOME<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Nestled in the mountains of the Sierra de Madrid, in a development where the view is everything, this customer wanted to open up the house as much as possible while getting its energy efficiency as close to an \u201cA\u201d rating as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This home is soundly insulated thanks to its triple-glaze windows featuring argon gas, double insulation in the concrete walls, forced ventilation, and radiant floor heating and cooling featuring aerothermics to allow the home to have a stable temperature throughout the year with minimal energy expenditure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design criteria included large windows, the use of wood on the walls, polished concrete for the floor, and black micro-cement in the baths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, gabion stone from the local area was used to provide contrast with the gray concrete of the building\u2019s fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
