A MUSICIAN’S HOME

Minimalist interior design

The aim was to reconvert a constrained space to give it character while opting for minimalist décor. The kitchen had to be a fundamental element, being separate from the living room yet still a part thereof. As partitions between the spaces, glass panels with concealed hardware were chosen.

The concrete slabs of the walls and their contrast with the wooden staircase give this home a great deal of personality. The iron fireplace, framed in darker micro-cement, is a true sculptural masterpiece.

Lighting

Lighting is key in all our projects. In this case, all of this home’s spaces were lighted indirectly in a very well-thought-out way to create a warm atmosphere.

In the basement, a fully soundproofed recording studio was installed. For lighting, we opted for an English-style areaway with a green wall.
